Robotics is Over...(PTRSD)
So, robotics season is over...what the heck do I do with my life now?
The build season is over, regionals are done, and you just got done with the world championships in St. Louis. So, the big question that you might be asking is, "what do I do with my life now?" You might be thinking, "I don't have a life anymore. I am stressing out about not stressing out because there are not any projects to accomplish!" Don't fret! Many people are in the same situation as you. This is a very natural state for you to be in, especially if this is your first year in FIRST Robotics. You might just have a disorder called Post-Traumatic Robotics Stress Disorder (PTRSD).
Don't worry, you have come to the right place!
At FRCNation, we are hear to help you and to encourage you while you go through this stage in your life. The disorder you have can be explained by looking at your life in the last past 12 weeks. Do you remember all the hard work you have done, the late nights with friends, the confusing moments, and the fun challenges? Since robotics is now finished, your body and mind craves for the life you had during those past 12 weeks. Recovering from this disorder is a long process, so the best thing you can do is...build more robots. Sorry. There is no real solution.
Stay calm, cool, and collective robot fanatics!
